very nice indeed and for $400 bucks good price also (but can't put price on quality).
just uploaded my current work on my back also started back in 2012 with just the 1 pony pinkie pie, after that thought sod it she needs her friends with her, so went all in got the other 5 also . then after that got a princess luna one done, now in the thought of a celestia as well oh and before that got Ryuk from deathnote he's a centure piece we'll just say he's after AJ's apples...wait did that sound wrong lol.
any how would love to know if you have more tattoo's not just the MLP ones.
nice, i just had a look at the pics, they look pretty cool currently i don't really have the money for more tattoos, so i only have luna atm. but when i do eventually have enough money to spare i'm planning of doing a full body suit over the course of the years ^^.
next one should be a cutie mark on your ass cheek so whenever you end up with a girl she will see what your special talent is i would get one with two ponies humping but usually by the time i get up for the sandwich they already know my special talent is sex lol
While i will not argue about the tattoo as i have part of LOVELESS from Final Fantasy 7 on my shoulder.. I will say that 400 was way to much.. who ever did your tattoo jacked you over. I'm only looking at $300 to get traditional Japanese art around the quote and that's full color.
I also don't know if it's just the picture but it looks really flat, like there is just nothing to it.
for my country it was very well priced, even below average, and i did it at a place where you get guaranteed that it looks like that for the rest of your life, and if for some reason it gets damaged, you can walk back in and they fix it up for free. unlike other shops where you need to pay hafe of the tattoo to fix it up.
so in the longrun this was a steel, that and the people at this store make fantastic body art, real masters of their trade.
I commend you for this. Ignore all the haters, I think that this tattoo is amazing, and totally worth it. I totally understand how much the pain from the tattoo (and the cost, ouch!) must have hurt, but the way it came out is stunning, and it looks beautiful (I've a tattoo in the same spot, so I know exactly how it feels to get one done there, and right over the spine too). All of the props to the artist that put this beautiful work on you, and even more props for having the guts to sit through it to get it done. Best wishes for your Luna/Celestia tribute sleeve as well! I'm looking forward to seeing how that turns out whenever you get that done. c: I salute you for your bravery for not only getting this tattoo done, but posting it here for everyone to see, haters or no. /)
Some day when you are 60, your children are going to wonder why you have the 2011 equivilant of Yu-Gi-Oh tattoo'd all over your body. They will laugh at you and getting work will be extremely difficult. And $400?! Good god.
Don't get me wrong, I love MLP too, but this is a little crazy. And all you people shouting about how amazing it is... You're freaking crazy too.
i can defo see what you mean, but i concidered everything that could / might happen, but if i ever decide to get kids, and they wouldnt like me because of that, it would mean they arent realy my kids. conicidering the fact i wouldteach them never to judge someone by there looks, faith, hobbies, etc.
and yeah i am kinda crazy, but its more than just a picture of a pony to me, i love this show and aspecialy this char. and all the things i love diserve a special place in and on my body : )
Well, I wish you the best of luck with it no matter what. For me, at 21 years old, I just feel like I would never get a tattoo of a show! The tattoos I've always wanted, I've wanted for 7-9 years now and I am still hesitant to get them. People change so much: every ten years is a new decade of life. I'll be interested to see how you feel about it in 10 years; I hope that it still has the same meaning for you!
I don't see anything wrong with it, a tattoo represents something that has meaning to a person. If MLP actually has a greater meaning to this person, then by all means they should be allowed to show that. If the body is a temple, then why not decorate it? People draw what they like and people get tattoos of what they like. Also I don't think this guy is going to have any problems getting a job considering the tattoo is on his back and would be concealed in most any workplace anyway.
